Samhain Visioning: Tarot, Intention & The Hero’s Journey Hosted by Cath Leask & Louise Cooper Saturday 2 May 2026 | 2:30pm – 5:30pm | Humpy Hall, Scullin An afternoon of reflection, creativity and soulful intention in honour of Samhain. Often referred to as the Witches’ New Year, Samhain marks the turning of the wheel, a time when we pause, reflect on what has been and consciously set the tone for the cycle ahead. This gathering isn’t about dogma or needing to believe anything in particular. At its heart, this is simply a beautiful moment in time to pause, dream and intentionally envision what comes next through the symbolic wisdom of Tarot and the Hero’s Journey. What we will explore - A gentle intention-setting meditation to arrive, ground and connect with your inner compass - A short intro to Samhain: its meaning, symbolism and why many consider it the energetic beginning of the spiritual year - Tarot and the Hero’s Journey: using the story of the Fool’s path through the Tarot as inspiration for our own unfolding story - Vision Board Creation: sing tarot imagery alongside collage materials, stickers, pens, and whatever creative spark calls you - Optional sharing circle: an opportunity to speak your vision aloud and witness the dreams of others in a supportive space - Snacks, sips and connection to close the workshop Why vision boards? Vision boards are more than craft projects, they are a powerful way to engage the subconscious mind, intuition and imagination. By combining imagery, symbolism and intention, we give our inner wisdom something tangible to focus on allowing possibilities to take shape before they arrive in the physical world. Tarot, with its rich symbolic language, offers a particularly beautiful way to explore this process. No experience needed. You don’t need to know Tarot, be “spiritual” or consider yourself creative. Just come with curiosity, an open mind, and a willingness to explore what might be unfolding for you in the year ahead. All materials will be provided, but you are very welcome to bring any personal images, magazines, or items you’d like to include in you vision board. Full Moon Drumming (Optional) The evening also carries the powerful energy of the Full Moon in Scorpio, a moon known for transformation, depth and powerful emotional insight. For those who feel called, you are welcome to stay on afterwards for a Full Moon Drumming circle to ground our intentions through rhythm, connection and community.
